A brand you can trust: For almost 90 years the name of Josef Ganter has been well-known in the dental industry. Right from the start, research and development as well as willingness to innovate have been in the focus of all business activitites at the company Josef Ganter Feinmechanik. Here you can see the history of the company at a glance.

1926

Foundation of the company by Josef Ganter in Unterkirnach.
Production of disk bearers on cam-controlled turning machines. The production plant was in the previous “Hotel zur Tanne”.

1950 (50er Jahre)

Continuation of the company through the son Egon Ganter.

1980

Takeover of the company through Manfred Müller.

1989

Purchase of the first CNC machines. New processing possibilities become accessible.

1992

Relocation to Dauchingen. Due to the relocation, there are further opportunities for expansion.

1997

Purchase of the first CNC lathe equipped with thread whirling device for bone screws.

1998

Certification according to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

2004

Manfred Müller transfers the firm to Roland Müller.

The last cam-controlled automatic machines are replaced by CNC machines.

2009

Purchase of a 7-axes turning/milling centre for highly complex work pieces.

2013

Purchase of a CNC long-turning lathe with B-axis.

2014

Move to the enlarged premises. Further 600 square metres of office, assembly and production area are available. Two CNC turning machines for micro parts are put into operation.

2015

Klingel medical metal, Pforzheim, acquires Josef Ganter Feinmechanik

2019

Klingel medical metal purchases two medical technology companies in Switzerland. Besides Josef Ganter Feinmechanik in Dauchingen, Gehring Cut AG in Matzingen and Bächler Feintech in Hölstein become member of the Klingel medical metal group.

2019

Completion and occupation of the new building next to the existing plant in July 2019. The production space increases by 500 m².
